Match the height to the storage and the room. A full-height 1800mm cupboard holds the most and suits a stationery or records store. A credenza-height unit around 1200mm fits under a window or behind a desk and gives you a usable surface on top. Measure the wall space and door swing before ordering, since a full-height cupboard needs clear room for the doors to open.
A tambour cupboard has doors made of linked slats that roll sideways into the body of the cabinet rather than swinging out. Height decides the cupboard
