One barrel, four inks. A multi-colour pen clicks between black, blue, red and green, so you colour-code, mark and correct without juggling a fistful of pens. It is a small, focused range; for single colours, the ballpoint pens range has far more.

Each colour has its own slider on the barrel. Push the one you want and that ink's tip clicks out, retracting when you select another, so all four colours stay in a single pen.
They suit colour-coding notes, marking and correcting documents, and teaching, anywhere swapping colours often would otherwise mean carrying several pens.
Some models take individual colour refills so you can replace just the ink that runs out. Check the brand, as not all multi-colour pens are refillable.
