A corner desk turns the part of the room you usually waste into your main work zone. The two legs give you a screen-and-keyboard side and a spread-out side for paperwork, all within arm's reach. We stock the Knight Cubit and Mobel Novah ranges in 1500mm and 1800mm, plus the deeper Avero 90 degree workstation, in frame and top colours to match the room.

The number is the length of each leg, and both legs are equal. A 1500 x 1500mm desk needs 1.5m of clear wall on each side of the corner and suits a home office or a single screen. An 1800 x 1800mm desk needs 1.8m each way and gives you room for dual monitors on one leg with paperwork or a printer on the other. Measure both walls out from the corner before you choose.

They are symmetrical, so the same desk works whichever way your corner faces. You decide which leg becomes the screen side when you set it up, and you can swap it around later if you rearrange the room.

The corner desks in this range are fixed height. If you want to sit and stand through the day, our standing desks come with electric height adjustable frames, or you can add a desktop sit-stand riser on top of a fixed corner desk to lift your screen and keyboard.

The tops are commercial grade melamine over a board core, the same material used across our office desk range. It is hard-wearing, resists scratches and marks from daily use, and wipes clean. The Novah range gives you white, black woodgrain and autumn oak finishes, while the Cubit and Avero keep it simple.

Sizing the corner: 1500 or 1800

The number is the length of each leg. Both legs are the same, so the desk sits square into the corner.

Why a corner desk earns its space

Pushed into a corner, an L-shaped desk gives you more usable surface than a straight desk of the same wall length, and it wraps the work around you instead of stretching it out in a line. Most people set one leg up as the screen zone and keep the other clear for writing, a second monitor or a printer. It is the layout that suits a spare-room office or a corner of an open-plan floor where every metre counts.

Knight Cubit or Mobel Novah

The two ranges cover most setups. The Knight Cubit workstation comes in 1500 and 1800 on a choice of white, black or silver frame, built as everyday commercial furniture. The Mobel Novah lets you mix a black or white frame with a white, black woodgrain or warm autumn oak top, so it can read as office-neutral or more like home study furniture. The Avero is a true 90 degree workstation with a deeper 800mm top for people who like more room behind the keyboard.

Match the frame and top to the room

For a clean office look, an all-white Novah or a white-frame Cubit disappears into the wall. For a study or a warmer fitout, the autumn oak or classic oak tops add some grain without looking dated. Black frames sit well under both light and dark tops if you want a bit more contrast. All the tops are hard-wearing commercial melamine, so they take daily use and wipe clean.

Fixed height now, sit-stand later

These corner desks are fixed height, set at a comfortable seated working level. Cable management and setting up

Most of the range includes cable management to keep leads off the floor and out of sight where the two legs meet. Decide early which leg holds your screen, since that sets where the power and data need to run.
