Start with what they're handling. Light packing, food prep or hygiene → disposable nitrile. General warehouse, dispatch, gardening → a coated knit glove. Sharp materials (glass, sheet metal, blades) → cut resistant. Cleaning chemicals or fuels → a chemical-rated nitrile or PVC glove. Heat or cold → leather/welding or insulated cold-store gloves. If the task doesn't fit neatly, email us a quick description and we'll suggest a couple of options.

A plain hi-vis vest is fluoro fabric — fine for daytime visibility around a yard. A day/night vest adds reflective tape so headlights pick it up at low light. If your team works around moving vehicles or after dark, day/night is the safer pick. Most of our hi-vis is day/night by default.

Gloves — pick by hazard, not just price

Glove choice is the single most-asked question we get. Quick guide:

  • Disposable nitrile for food prep, cleaning and light hygiene tasks (browse disposables)
  • General handling (polyurethane or nitrile-dipped knit) for warehouse, dispatch and assembly (general handling)
  • Cut resistant for glass, sheet metal and blade work — sold in a range of protection levels so you can match the glove to how sharp the material is
  • Chemical (nitrile or PVC, full-length) for cleaning chemicals, solvents, fuels (chemical gloves)
  • Heat / cold / chain mesh for kitchens, cool-stores and meat-processing (heat, cold, chain mesh)

First aid — what's actually required?

We offer workplace, vehicle, sports and remote first aid kits in sizes from lone-worker pouches up to 1–50 person wall-mounted cabinets. Once a kit is in service, top it back up from our plasters and bandages, antiseptics and module refills. If you need a kit specced for a particular site or vehicle fleet, email us the team size and main hazards and we'll suggest options.
