Why use a laptop stand?

Raising the screen to eye level keeps your neck and shoulders in a more natural position over a long day. Because the keyboard goes too high to type on when the laptop is raised, a laptop stand is used with a separate keyboard and mouse.

What is the difference between a laptop riser and a monitor riser?

A laptop riser tilts and lifts a notebook, often folding flat to carry. A monitor riser is a fixed platform that lifts a desktop screen and usually leaves a shelf underneath for a keyboard or storage.

Can I raise two monitors?

Are the risers height adjustable?

Some are fixed-height platforms and others adjust to several heights, such as the Kensington SmartFit range. The product page lists the height range and the maximum screen size each model supports.

Laptop risers, monitor risers and dual stands
