What is a breakaway lanyard?

A breakaway lanyard has a clasp that releases if the cord is pulled or snagged hard, so it comes away rather than catching on machinery or causing a choking risk. It is the safer choice for worksites and schools.

Flat or cord style?

A flat-style lanyard is a wide woven strap, the most common and comfortable. A cord-style is a thinner round cord, lighter and lower-cost. Both take any badge or pouch with a swivel clip.

What do pre-printed Staff and Visitor lanyards do?

They have Staff or Visitor printed along the cord, so you can tell team members and guests apart at a glance without ordering custom-printed lanyards.

What is a retractable lanyard?

It combines a neck cord with a built-in reel, so the ID card extends to reach a reader and then reels back to the chest, handy where you swipe in and out often.

Plain, pre-printed, breakaway and reflective
